Unmanaged VPS Hosting

“Unmanaged” means that SERVER1 provides the infrastructure: server resources, network, virtualization, IP address and availability. Internal administration of the operating system, security configuration, package updates and application management are the customer's responsibility.

The plan includes isolated vCPU/RAM/SSD resources, Dedicated IPv4, OS selection, root/SSH access, infrastructure monitoring and network-level support. Panels, backup and administration can be added as needed.

By default, internal server management, PHP/MySQL/Nginx/Apache configuration, malware cleanup, fixing WordPress or other CMS issues, internal email configuration, application debugging and regular OS updates are not included. Such work is available through a Managed service or by individual agreement.

Unmanaged VPS is best for developers, DevOps teams, agencies, resellers and businesses that have a technical person or want full control over the server at a lower price.

Yes. You can install Plesk, cPanel, Docker, Nginx, Apache, Redis, Node.js, Python, OpenLiteSpeed, n8n and other stacks. Licenses and internal software configuration are not included in the base price.

The base price of Unmanaged VPS does not include a full free migration. If you need files, databases, email or DNS transferred, SERVER1 can provide migration service by additional agreement, or you can choose Unmanaged VPS.

SERVER1 protects the infrastructure level - the network, virtualization environment and platform availability. Inside the VPS, firewall rules, SSH hardening, user permissions, updates, application security and malware risks are the responsibility of the customer or their administrator.

Backup is available optionally. For critical projects, automatic backups, external storage or a separate backup policy is recommended. In the Unmanaged model, the customer must verify that the backup actually works and that the restore procedure has been tested.

At the infrastructure level, a 99.5% Uptime approach applies. This covers the SERVER1 platform and network availability, but does not cover incorrect configuration inside the VPS by the customer, application errors or resource overload.

You can pay monthly, for 1 year or for 2 years. Annual payment includes a 10% saving, while the 2-year cycle includes a 15% saving.

Yes. If later you need to hand over server administration to the SERVER1 team, you can switch to Managed VPS or to a larger infrastructure - Managed Dedicated Server or Unmanaged Dedicated Server.
