Software troubleshooting is not included by default with an Unmanaged server. However, if needed, we can offer one-time paid assistance or add monthly Managed service. This may include OS Recovery, Firewall configuration, Malware checks, Backup restoration, Plesk/cPanel troubleshooting or server optimization.
Standard Unmanaged Dedicated servers do not include Backup setup, management or restore testing. The customer must take care of the Backup strategy. If desired, an additional Backup service or Managed Backup configuration can be ordered.
Yes. Thanks to Root/Admin access, you can install Plesk, cPanel, DirectAdmin, Docker, Kubernetes Tools, Nginx, Apache, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Node.js, Python or any other required software environment. Licenses, configuration and ongoing management are the customer's responsibility unless a separate Managed service is added.
If the issue is related to the physical server, disk, RAM, network or infrastructure, SERVER1.GE checks and responds accordingly. If the issue is caused by the operating system, customer configuration, application or incorrect security settings, it is not included in the Unmanaged service.
Yes. Managed service can be added to an Unmanaged server. In that case, at the first stage we check the server's current condition, security level, Backup policy and service configuration, then define the scope of management work.
Yes. An Unmanaged Dedicated server is cheaper because daily administration, proactive monitoring, security management, Backup control and optimization are not included in the price. The lower price is achieved by transferring system responsibility to the customer.
