Advantages of Dedicated Servers
Dedicated servers offer isolation, control, predictable resources and greater flexibility for demanding workloads. Learn when dedicated infrastructure may be the right choice.
Dedicated Servers with Full Management - SERVER1.GE offers fully managed Bare Metal servers where infrastructure, security, monitoring and operational updates are fully managed by our DevOps team.
Start with simple web hosting in Georgia or in Europe, then move to a Managed Dedicated server.
This page shows the Dedicated Server configurations currently available in Georgia.
Managed Dedicated is a physical Bare Metal server whose administration, security, monitoring and support are provided by SERVER1.GE.
For businesses, developers and technical teams that need more resources, control or management.
Isolated resources, secure infrastructure, technical flexibility and support when needed.
Evaluate load, CPU/RAM, storage, backup, location and management level.
The Managed Business package includes infrastructure management for the Dedicated Server, basic security setup, monitoring, system updates, backup process configuration and server-level technical support.
SERVER1.GE provides Managed Bare Metal servers where server administration, baseline security, monitoring and operating-system maintenance are handled within the agreed Managed scope.
Core server resources and services can be monitored within the agreed Managed scope. Monitoring alerts help the SERVER1 team investigate infrastructure or server-level issues.
Operating-system and security updates are planned and applied within the agreed Managed scope. Maintenance windows are coordinated when an update may affect service availability.
Managed scope can include baseline firewall and access configuration, operating-system hardening and security updates. Application security remains separate unless explicitly agreed.
Backup is not assumed to be included in every Dedicated configuration. If backup is selected, storage, frequency and retention are confirmed before ordering or in the Managed scope.
SERVER1 is the customer-facing contact for the managed server service, including infrastructure and server-level requests covered by the agreed scope.
Server-stack tuning can be included when agreed. Application-code optimization, database development and custom performance engineering are separate from the standard Managed scope.
Monitoring and diagnostics focus on the server resources and services included in the Managed scope. Additional observability requirements are defined separately when needed.
Architecture or security reviews can be arranged when the workload requires them. The exact operational scope is agreed with the customer rather than assumed as part of every server.
A Managed Dedicated server is especially beneficial when scale and security are critical.
Managed Dedicated service focuses on the server and infrastructure layers defined in the agreed scope. Monitoring can cover core resources and services. While server-level incidents are handled through SERVER1 support processes.
Security work can include baseline access controls, firewall configuration, operating-system hardening and security updates. Backup is a separately defined service: storage, frequency and retention depend on the selected configuration and agreed scope.
Managed Dedicated servers are covered by a 99.9% Service Availability SLA. Average initial support response time is approximately 15 minutes. this is an operational average, not a contractual response-time guarantee.
You can choose Linux distributions and professional control panels that serve web hosting, databases, Directory Services, RDP or application containerization.
Ideal for web servers, container workloads and CI/CD platforms. Provides a broad package library and fast security patches.
A stable and predictable environment for backend systems with low overhead. Recommended for fintech, CRM and API services.
A Red Hat ecosystem-compatible choice for production where you need enterprise stability, SELinux policies and long-term support.
cPanel/WHM, Plesk, DirectAdmin or custom panels. We manage licensing, regular updates, Web Application Firewall and module optimization.
Docker, Kubernetes (single-tenant bare metal) and IaC best practices. Even if you do not need containers now, you can implement them easily in the future.
Choose an operating system, control panel or preconfigured application and create a new VPS instance in seconds.
How do we migrate an existing system to a Managed Dedicated server?
Migration to a Managed Dedicated server often involves not only transferring files and databases. But also assessing architecture, balancing performance and adjusting security. SERVER1.GE creates an onboarding plan: inventory, migration order for components, rollback scenarios and a testing checklist.
We start with an inventory: applications, DB, cycles, Cron jobs and external integrations. Then we create a test environment where we check the expected load. Finally, the cutover window is carried out according to the agreed SLA, with minimal downtime.
If the migration is from a VPS or cloud environment, we will provide a detailed comparison and prepare a hardening plan. If you have a large database, we can create a replica in advance and enable read/write switchover so data is not lost during migration.
We have collected the most popular questions about hosting, Managed Dedicated servers, security, migration, billing and SLA.
A Managed Dedicated server provides physical Bare Metal resources with SERVER1 administration within an agreed Managed scope. This can include OS setup, server-level security work, monitoring and maintenance. Backup is defined separately if selected. The service is covered by the 99.9% Service Availability SLA.
Managed Dedicated is suited to ecommerce, SaaS, databases, business applications and other workloads that need dedicated physical resources but do not want to handle all server administration internally. The customer should still maintain the application and business configuration unless additional work is explicitly agreed.
SERVER1 manages the server-level tasks included in the agreed scope, such as OS setup, updates, baseline security and monitoring. The client remains responsible for application code, application logic, business configuration and data. Backup is included only when it is part of the selected configuration or agreed scope.
Standard Managed service covers server and infrastructure administration, not application development or application-specific maintenance. If you need work outside the standard scope, contact SERVER1 so the requirement can be evaluated and quoted separately.
Buying hardware means owning its lifecycle and arranging colocation, network and maintenance. Renting a Managed Dedicated server provides the physical server as a service plus the agreed SERVER1 management scope and a 99.9% Service Availability SLA, without transferring hardware ownership to the customer.
We begin with an inventory and assessment of the current infrastructure, then create a test environment and backup plan. Cutover is performed in an agreed window with minimal downtime, and the team continues monitoring after migration. If needed, we are ready to add a replica, load balancer or CDN so traffic switching is smooth.
Managed Dedicated servers are covered by a 99.9% Service Availability SLA. Availability terms and exclusions are defined on the SLA page. average initial support response time is approximately 15 minutes.
Managed VPS packages are covered by a 99.9% Service Availability SLA. Detailed terms and exclusions are defined on the SLA page.
Backup requirements are defined separately for the selected Dedicated configuration. If backup is ordered, the storage target, frequency, retention and recovery responsibilities are documented in the service scope rather than assumed by default.
Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux are available. For panels - cPanel/WHM, Plesk, DirectAdmin or custom solutions. Every system is hardened and regularly updated by us. The choice is made based on your application's requirements and compliance policy.
On many configurations, vertical scaling is possible with minimal downtime. We can also add storage disks, NVMe SSD or HDD/SAS and adjust RAID profiles. If needed, we also offer horizontal scaling using a Load Balancer and replica servers.
Least privilege, MFA, bastion host, network segmentation, WAF, IDS/IPS and DDoS mitigation. Patch Management is performed regularly, a vulnerability scanner detects weaknesses, and logs are centralized. This approach increases the security of a managed Bare Metal server.
The basic model assumes collaborative access: Root/Admin is protected. But access can be granted according to the security policy. We manage the audit trail and MFA so access remains controlled. If necessary, we can set up role-based accounts.
Cloud is flexible. But pricing and tuning are often complex. Managed Dedicated gives you physical resources in a noise-free environment, predictable cost and an operations team. If you need a hybrid model, we can also integrate with an external cloud.
Vertical scaling is possible with stronger CPU/RAM. While horizontal scaling is possible by adding new servers and a Load Balancer. We can also build a hybrid model with unmanaged servers or cloud resources. The main benefit is that the operations team helps you build the right architecture.
Managed Dedicated means speed, security and 24/7 management in one package. Choose your preferred option from multiple locations, receive an SLA, a partnership-based approach and an operations team that truly understands the industry.
